最近、好きなグループYouTuberが無期限で活動を休止することが発表した。
Recently, a favorite group of YouTubers announced that they are taking an indefinite hiatus.
自分がゲームクリエイターになろうと思うきっかけであり、さらに入院期自殺観念を持っていた時に救い出してもらった命の恩人でもある。
He is the reason why I decided to become a game creator, and moreover, he is the person who saved my life by rescuing me when I was having suicidal thoughts during my hospitalization period.

そんな彼らについて少し書いておこうと思う。
彼らは6人組でマインクラフトというゲームを中心に実況を行っていた。
I would like to write a little about them. They were a six-member group that mainly played a game called Minecraft.
高校の時からの同級生であり、最高のメンバーとして、同級生ならではのわちゃわちゃ感もありつつ、まとまりを持ったプロのマインクラフターである。
They have been classmates since high school, and as the best members, they are professional minecrafters who are cohesive and professional, with a sense of flirtation that only classmates can have.
たまに、実写でカードゲームの動画や旅行動画を投稿しては視聴者を楽しませた。
Occasionally, he entertained viewers by posting live-action card game videos and travel videos.

彼らは私にとっての光であり、人生の目標のようなものだった。
メンバーの誰が特別に好きだという感情もなく、6人全員が揃っている状態が好きという感じだった。
They were like a light to me and a goal in life. I didn't have any particular feelings of love for any of the members, I just liked the state of all six of them together.
人生の目標であるというのは、私には仲のいい友達はいるが、それが、『この先高校を卒業してからも続く仲であるか』という不安の中に『そんな友達ができたら将来、絶対的に楽しいだろうな』という大きな憧れみたいな感情があった。
I have good friends, but I had a feeling of great longing that 'if I could have such friends, I would definitely have fun in the future' in the midst of my anxiety about whether they would continue to be good friends after I graduated from high school.
そんな彼らが休止した。
動画の『悪いお知らせ』のサムネイルを見た瞬間、なんとなく察して涙ぐんだ後、『無期限休止をします』という言葉を聞いて、涙が止まらなかった。
They have suspended such a thing. The moment I saw the "Bad News" thumbnail on the video, I sort of guessed it and burst into tears, and then I heard the words, "We are going on an indefinite hiatus," and I couldn't stop crying.
『1人が止まるならみんなで止まる』
メンバーの1人が活動9年目を節目に、休止したいと言ったため、『1人が止まるならみんなで立ち止まろう』という風になったらしい。
One of the members said he wanted to take a break after nine years of activity, so they decided that if one person stops, we should all stop.

本当にそういうところが素敵である。
『あぁ、私はやはりこの関係が大好きだ。それなら休止するのも納得できる。』そう感じた。
That's really what is so wonderful about it. 'Oh, I still love this relationship. Then it makes sense to take a break.' That's how I felt.
納得したのはいいものの、悲しい、寂しいという気持ちは変わらなかった。
Although I was convinced, I was still sad and lonely.
でも、彼らを休止中も応援し続けなければならない！というプレッシャーのようなものは感じなかった。
But I had to keep supporting them during their hiatus! I didn't feel any kind of pressure to continue to support them during their hiatus.
それこそ、学校の休み時間に友達を教室で待つ時みたいに、たまに『まだかな？きっとトイレ並んでるんだろうなぁ』くらいの気持ちで待てばいいとわかっているからだ。
That's just like when I wait for my friends in the classroom during school breaks, sometimes I wonder if they are still there. I know I can just wait with a feeling of 'I bet there's a line for the restroom.

暗くて苦しいじめじめした道を照らしてくれた推しには日々心から感謝を伝えるべき。
We should express our sincere gratitude every day to our guesses for lighting up our dark, bitter, dreary paths.
推しがいなくなったことがない人へ、もしも明日いなくなるなら、あなたはなにをしますか？
To those who have never lost a guess, if you were gone tomorrow, what would you do?
手紙を書く？お金を貢ぐ？失望して泣き叫ぶ？自殺行為に走る？
様々な答えがあると思う。
Write letters? Contribute money? Cry and scream in disappointment? Commit suicide? There are many different answers.

私は、変わろうと思った。
というよりも、『変わらなければいけないタイミングが来てしまった』が本質的には正しい。
I decided to change. Rather, 'the time has come when I must change' is essentially correct.
変わるというのは、性格を変えるとかではなくて、【受け取る側から与える側へ変わる】ということ。
Change does not mean changing one's personality, but rather [changing from a receiver to a giver].
今までの私はただの視聴者として口をぼんやり開けて、時にはお菓子を食べながら動画を聞いていた。
Until now, I was just a viewer, listening to the videos with my mouth hanging open, sometimes while eating sweets.

でも、もうその時間は終わった。次はその時間で私が誰かに与える番なのだ。
But that time is over. Now it's my turn to give to someone else in that time.
誰かの推しに私がなる世界線へ自ら切り拓いていかなければならない。
I have to open myself up to the world line where I become someone's guess.
今あなたが文章を読んで何かを受け取っているように、私はその何かを夢や希望にして誰かに与えられる存在へと変わらなければならない。
Just as you are now receiving something from reading the text, I must change into someone who can give that something to someone else as a dream or hope.
なんだかんだ、ぐだぐだ言いましたが自立してみました！みたいな感じになっている。
まぁ、その通りなんだけど。
I kind of rambled on and on, but I tried to be independent! It's like that. Well, you're right.
滲んだ目で見る過去の動画はもの寂しくて、同時に本当に面白かった。
The videos of the past seen through blurred eyes were lonely and really interesting at the same time.
与える側の使命を引き継いだからには、ゲームクリエイターとして、エッセイストとして、詩人として、今年様々な目標をこなしていかなければならない。
Having taken over the mission of the giver, I must complete various goals this year as a game creator, essayist, and poet.
そこで、今年やりたい10のこと。

6) Became over 1,000 followers
⑦毎日投稿
7) Posted every day
⑧音楽活動で有名に
8) Became famous for music activities
⑨第一志望合格
9) Accepted to the school of my first choice
