the snow dances along the wind like salt 雪は風に沿って塩らしく踊る

My white snow does not fall as the dance of the willow,
As my crystals are too heavy from their gravity and sorrow.
Shallow man, you will never understand. That true snow-underfalling
in their purity, must fall as honest salt they are!
And in their funny and precipitous reaching of the bottom.
Lie universal human tragedy you can't write off with willow-words.

私の白雪は柳の踊る如く堕ちぬ
結晶は重力と鬱から、重い深い
浅き人や、お前は理解出来ぬだろうよ、真の雪定め
彼女らの純潔さ故に、素直の塩みたいに落す
その可笑しい、急勾配の底につく方には
宇宙的人間的悲劇が眠り、柳言葉で書き換えぬ

我的白雪不如柳樹的舞一樣墮落
結晶從重力和憂鬱而深重
膚淺之人，汝等必無法理解，真實的雪的定落
她們的純潔由故，和誠實的鹽分一樣落下
那個可笑的，陡峻的見底的方式裏
沉睡著宇宙的人間的悲劇，這是柳樹話無法改寫的

the snow fell like salt must be due to that she has long since cried dry all her moist and tender things; and too her levity in her footsteps of youth, through the greedy drought that lasts for the whole life-span of a living thing---which is called age.
雪が塩のように降り積もったのは、彼女が長い間、しっとりとした柔らかいものをすべて乾かしてしまったからに違いないーーー
そして、青春の浮き足立ちもそうだ、これは生き物の寿命全体にわたって続く貪欲な干ばつによるものである---これを年と呼ぶ。
雪像鹽一樣下的必然是她早就苦幹了她的柔軟濕潤的東西了；同時她的青春的輕快脚步也一樣，通過生物壽命的整個長度持續的貪婪的乾渴---叫做年月的乾渴。。。

(Basically dad asks son and daughter what to compare the falling snow with in poetry, the son says: like grasping and scattering the salt in the sky, the daughter says: like willow that dances along the wind that blows. the daughter married a rich man later. I guess she knows to dance like willows and bow to the temperamental winds, but lacks true gravity of the salt.
(基本的に父は息子と娘に、降る雪を詩で例えるとしたら何かと尋ね、息子は「空に塩を掴んで撒くようなもの」と答え、娘は「吹く風に沿って舞う柳のようなもの」と答えた。
娘は後に金持ちと結婚した。
柳のように舞い、気まぐれな風にお辞儀をすることは知っていても、塩の真の重厚さには欠けているのだろう。

《世说新语》上卷上《言语》

“谢太傅寒雪日内集，与儿女讲论文义。俄而雪骤，公欣然曰：‘白雪纷纷何所似？’兄子胡儿曰：‘撒盐空中差可拟。’兄女曰：‘未若柳絮因风起。’公大笑乐。即公大兄无奕女，左将军王凝之妻也。”南朝梁·刘孝标注：“胡儿，谢朗小字也。”

《晋书》卷九十六《列女列传·王凝之妻谢氏》～256～

王凝之妻谢氏，字道韫，安西将军奕之女也。聪识有才辩。叔父安尝问：“毛诗何句最佳？”道韫称：“吉甫作颂，穆如清风。仲山甫永怀，以慰其心。”安谓有雅人深致。又尝内集，俄而雪骤下，安曰：“何所似也？”安兄子朗曰：“散盐空中差可拟。”道韫曰：“未若柳絮因风起。”安大悦。 [2]

Apparently I was still pissed off by my elementary and middle school Chinese literature teachers who told my poetry was filth that do not rhyme.
どうやら私は、小中学校の漢文の先生から「ーー君の詩は残念ながら韻を踏まない汚物だ」と言われたことにまだ腹を立てていたようだ。
看起來我還是對小中學校的語文老師説我的詩歌是不押韻的垃圾感到很生氣
