終戦日にアレンネルソンの本を読んだ
今回は洋書ではないのですが、ベトナム帰還兵のアレン・ネルソン氏の「ネルソンさん、あなたは人を殺しましたか？」という戦場で体験した戦争の悲惨さについて語られている本を読みました。
戦争というくくりで考えると、８月に入ると、国内では昔から第二次世界大戦中の話が多くなり、あらためて戦争の残酷さ、悲しさについて考えさせられます。私の祖父母も戦争中の話をたまにしてくれました。横浜の大空襲を経験した祖母は、

Spyを読み始めて30分。
本来ノンフィクション大好きな私ですが、最初から胸が苦しくなる場面が多くて、今の自分にはtoo much過ぎて、読み続けるのを辞めました。
本を一度読み始めたら最後まで読まないと！って思いながら、無理しながら全部読まなくてもいいんじゃない、って最近思う。だから、こんな時があってもいい。

彼の文章はすごく読みやすいし、
ドキドキワクワクして早く全部読みたくなっちゃう。そしてスリル満点。本が手放せなくなる。最高！

本を読んで、その世界に入り込む
たまに本を読んでいると、その本の世界に入り込んで、その世界が好きになって、ずっとその中にいたくて本を手放せなくなるときがある。本を読み終えると解放されて少しホッとするけど、なんだか寂しくなるんだよね。大好きなドラマが終わってしまったときと同じような感覚かも。
いま読んでいる本に、あまり入り込めていない。でも本を読み始めてしまったから少しずつ読み続けている。読み続けることで、急にその本がおもしろく
