気をつけた方がいいベンチャー企業とは！？〜その３〜Which venture companies should you be careful about? ? ~Part3~

前回の記事で、企業選びの際に気をつけた方がいいベンチャー企業のポイント２つ目をご紹介させていただきました。採用や人事に要職のポストがあり人材採用に力を入れているかどうかという事がポイントでしたね。気になる方はそちらの記事もチェックしてみてください。そして今回はそのポイント３つ目を『転職２.０』より一部抜粋してご紹介させていただきます。

In the previous article, I introduced the second point about venture companies that you should pay attention to when choosing a company. The key point was whether or not the company had important positions in recruitment and human resources, and whether they were putting effort into hiring human resources. ”実際のオフィスもベンチャー企業のポリシーや社風が表れやすいポイントです。コロナ禍でオフィスを解約する動きもありますが、最近のベンチャー企業はおおむねオフィスに大きく投資をしています。ただ、過剰なまでに投資をしている会社には疑問符がつきます。そこまで規模も拡大しておらず、プロダクトが知れ渡っているわけでもないのに、”

”The actual office is also a point where the policies and corporate culture of a venture company can easily be expressed. Although there is a movement to cancel office contracts due to the coronavirus pandemic, recent venture companies are generally investing heavily in offices. However, there are question marks over companies that invest excessively. Although the scale has not expanded to that extent and the product is not well known,”

”なぜか一等地にオフィスを構え、受付が異常に広々としているベンチャー企業を見かけると正直不安になります。社長インタビューの記事などに出てくる社長室が異常に大きい場合にも怪しさを感じます。まっとうな経営者は、社長室よりも社員のためのオフィス環境に投資をします。従業員がパフォーマンスが発揮すれば会社が成長すると知っているからです。”

”For some reason, I honestly feel uneasy when I see venture companies with offices in prime locations and unusually spacious reception areas. I also feel suspicious when the president's office appears in articles interviewing the president that are abnormally large. Serious business owners invest more in office environments for their employees than in the president's office. Because we know that if our employees perform well, the company will grow.”
