いいベンチャー企業を見極めるポイント〜その３〜Points to identify a good venture company

前回の記事でいいベンチャー企業を見極めるポイント２つ目、後ろ盾となるベンチャーキャピタルがありました。イケてるベンチャー企業には、イケてるベンチャーキャピタルが出資しているとの事でしたね。そちらの記事が気になる方はチェックしてみて下さい。そして今回はいいベンチャー企業を見極めるポイント３つ目をご紹介いたします。

In the previous article, I introduced the second point to identify a good venture company. The deciding factor was the venture capital backing. I heard that cool venture capital invests in cool venture companies. If you are interested in those articles, please check them out. And this time, I would like to introduce the third point to identify a good venture company.

”３つ目のポイントとなるのがプロダクトです。要するにその企業が提供している製品やサービスを実際に自分で使ってみることが大切。オンライン診療のように興味本位だけでは利用できないサービスもあるかもしれませんが、会社や製品・サービスへの共感を確かめることは、ベンチャーで働く上では非常に大きな意味があります。”

”The third point is the product. In short, it is important to actually use the products and services that the company offers. Some services, such as online medical consultations, may not be available just out of curiosity, but confirming empathy for a company, product, or service is extremely meaningful when working at a venture.”

”スタートアップの界隈では「プロダクトマーケットフィット（PMF）」という言葉が使われます。これは文字通りプロダクトがマーケットに適合している状態のこと。要するに、自分がそのプロダクトが便利だと思い、同じように感じる人が周りにいれば、そのプロダクトが市場に受け入れられているということであり、成長する可能性が高いと推測できるのです。”

”In the startup world, the term “product market fit (PMF)” is used. This is literally the state in which the product is adapted to the market. In short, if you think the product is useful and there are people around you who feel the same way, it means that the product is accepted by the market, and you can infer that the product is likely to grow.”
