冬枯れの柿の木
その枝先に、一つだけ
残る柿の実
それは
私のアルバムの1ページ
過ぎ去った季節の思い出を
静かに閉じ込めた
永遠の1枚の写真
私は
その一つ残された
柿の実を見つめながら
家族や子どもたちとの
思い出を振り返り
今の彼らの成長に
感謝した
そして、私は
来年も
この一瞬の時間を
また振り返る事が
出来るように祈った

The winter-bare persimmon tree,
On its branches, solitary,
Lingers one remaining persimmon.
It is
A page in my album,
Quietly enclosing memories
Of seasons long gone,
An eternal photograph frozen in time.
As I gaze at
That lone remaining persimmon,
I reflect on memories
With family and children,
Expressing gratitude
For their current growth.
And, I
Pray that next year,
I'll be able to
Look back on
This fleeting moment in time
Once again.
