'Fluffy speed reading' changes lives!
( about the two types of growth 'mountain-climbing' and 'wave-riding')
Reading Notebook (Day 170)
I recently made a reading declaration, "Wake up your English brain!" This is an introduction to the method of "Awaken your English brain!
The term "English brain" in this book refers to "the use of the brain in which English comes out directly through images, without any input or output from the Japanese language".
Today I finally introduce the fifth and final chapter.
This time, the teachings in this book will also change lives through 'fluffy speed reading'! This was the content of the book.
Confidence makes people more attractive, speed-reading makes time shorter, and increased concentration has a positive impact on other things besides English! So, 'fluffy speed reading' changes lives! It seems that this is no exaggeration.
Also, here are some interesting things that were introduced in this book.
Looking back at myself, I was aware that I was a 'mountain climber' when I was a student, but now I feel that I am more of a 'wave rider'.
I think I am the same type of person who is passionate about what is in front of them and grows from their experiences.
I think it is desirable to grow in a way that suits your type, and in my case as a 'wave rider' (downstream type), I am more suited to learning something all at once in a short, concentrated period of time.
For this reason, it is important to set a goal for a short period of time! So, as well as this English study, I'm currently setting goals for each of the three areas of work, study and health, and tracking my progress on a weekly basis, but six weeks have passed since 2024 began, and I'm starting to get on track quite nicely.
I've strayed quite a bit from 'fluffy speed reading' at the end, but that's about it for today! See you soon! 😉✨
