Singapore Allows Doctor Visits by App
People in Singapore have been using smartphone apps for simple check-ups with their doctors, using text messages and video calls. And now the country's Healthcare Services Act, approved in January, will regulate these new "telemedicine" businesses, allowing the Ministry of Health to give licenses for new services.
Marian Ho of Dentons Rodyk Singapore, a law firm, said that the new law is significant because it focuses on the types of medical services provided, not where they're provided. For example, if a patient only needs to refill a prescription, it is less important that they go to a hospital and more important that they get advice from a doctor, even if it is over Skype.

Singapore is a world leader in biomedical science. It makes four out of the world’s top 10 drugs, according to a report from TMF Group and Singapore’s Economic Development Board. The report also notes that over 30 of the world's major biomedical science and drug companies have clinical trial centers in Singapore.

Yes,they do.Because they get sick ,they have to pay a lot.But if they buy private health insurance ,they don't need a lot of money.private health insurance pays almost all of the money.
