【前編】日本企業の部長クラスの年収は、タイよりも低い！？-The annual salary of general managers in Japanese companies is lower than in Thailand!?-

皆さんこんにちわ。ちょうど本日『稼ぎ方２.０』という本を読み終えました。こちらは『転職２.0』でもお馴染みの村上臣さんが書かれた本になります。前作で興味をもち今回購入して読んでみたのですが、色々と衝撃的なことが書かれていたので、そちらを一部抜粋してご紹介いたします。

Good afternoon everybody. I just finished reading a book called ``How to Make Money 2.0''. This is a book written by Shin Murakami, who is also known for ``Job Change 2.0''. I was interested in the previous book, so I bought it and read it, and there were a lot of shocking things written about it, so I'd like to introduce some excerpts from it.

”「日本企業の部長クラスの年収は、タイよりも低い」経済産業省が2022年5月に発表した「未来人材ビジョン」という報告書が衝撃的な事実を明らかにし、各メディアを賑わせました。日本が過去２０年給与が上がっていない事、しかも主要先進国の中で唯一日本だけ上がっていない事は皆さんすでにご存知のことかと思います。”

"The annual salary of general managers in Japanese companies is lower than in Thailand.'' The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry released a report titled "Future Human Resources Vision'' in May 2022, which revealed shocking facts and made headlines in various media.  I'm sure you all already know that salaries in Japan have not increased in the past 20 years, and that Japan is the only major developed country where wages have not increased. ”

”しかしそれでも心のどこかでは、「日本は先進国だ」と信じ、我々を取り巻く現状があたかも普通のことだと思っている人が大半でしょう。そんな日本人に「日本企業の本当の”ヤバさ”」を指摘したのが「未来人材ビジョン」でした。日本は「アメリカや中国に負けている」などというレベルではなくこれまで後進国だと思っていた「東南アジアにも負けている」。”

"However, somewhere in their hearts, most people believe that ``Japan is a developed country'' and think that the current situation surrounding us is normal. The ``Future Human Resources Vision'' pointed out to such Japanese people the ``true ``dangerousness'' of Japanese companies''. Japan is not at the level of ``losing to the United States or China,'' but ``losing to Southeast Asia,'' which was previously thought to be an underdeveloped country. ”

皆さんいかがだったでしょうか。実際に出稼ぎに来ていた外国人労働者が他の国を選びつつある事など肌で感じていましたが、ここまで稼いでいるのは驚きですね。タイ在住のmanabuさんのTwitter（X）の中でもこんなことを呟かれていたのでかなりリアルです。※下記参照

What did you all think? I actually felt that foreign workers who came to work abroad were choosing other countries, but I was surprised that they were actually earning this much. Manabu, living in Thailand, said something like this on Twitter, so it's quite realistic.

この事実を悲観的に捉えるのではなく、前向きに捉えることで今後のモチベーションにつなげていきたいですね。これからますます複数のキャリアを作る人が増えていきそうです。皆さんにとっても何か参考になれば幸いです。それではまた。ありがとうございました。

Rather than looking at this fact pessimistically, I would like to look at it positively and use it as motivation for the future. It seems that more and more people will pursue multiple careers.I hope this will be of some help to you all. See you soon. thank you very much.
