innocence a dissection 無邪気さの解剖
Does not the jealous eyes of innocence make the celestial realm further endowed with splendour; aah, the innocence of children, that we know only from the look of their eyes not their mind, and we rejoice in being able to ignorant like so. do we truly know, or even bother to know what dark and troublesome things belie the smiles of children underneath? how many of the parents truly care or have time to care the mental suffering of the young, which they would simply call being childish and naive---that it will be fixed or cured by the mystified "growing up"?
this thing we call innocence is in fact a very painful thing, and indeed a suffering thing, we have often forgotten for how deep it runs in us, and how deep it is n truth----we forget how often children are at the edge of melancholy and fear from being more earnest than the educated and conditoned adults in place of evil in the world.
yea, verily this suffering we were unable to recall is often so very unbearable, the kind that of a barely worthy, witless and powerless child. what do those who have grown and forgiving or forgetting things remember about the wistful yearn of youth that may never be fulfilled as how weak and useless the youth were?
"innocence", it strikes me always as an odd word. there is an "O" shaped hole squeeze in between letters. It is a frightning absense of sounds in higher register. it strikes me as a souce of conflict and battle-trouble. How do you blame me on associating that big yawning mouth in "innocence" as a young, newly formed natural cavernous hole, full of shades and flighty forms conjured unbidden, and beneath that there is hidden there a small smoke-spewing stove of inferno flame? are not children the ones with knees deep in the sorching heat of that purgatorial river that is weaknesses and ignorance of virtue and beauty, even in thinking? they are at the frontier of absense of life vales and faith, they are the vanguards of huamanity foremostly placed in face of eternal nihilism and its fear from lack of purposes, the frontline that the grown ups retreated themselves from and ordered children to do the citadel-taking all-out assault. and we treat those victims of the adults' wars, and sometimes veterans too, with ill-respect, as so frequently we think of children as unruminating and brutal animals that we need leashes, whips, and a trough of sweet carrots like for donkeys or horses to keep them in their right place- perhaps we are herding them, fattening them---to what end?
are children, not only losers and vagabonds in misfortune, but also slaves with no freedom to choose course of life too? who was the one that assulted their clans and tribal kinsfolk and put them on with the harness or yokel to break them until they learn how to turn in the field, or sometimes affix them to a quern in a mill, for the sake of producing all so worthy and pale "flour of youth"?
from where I was born, at least, we call childhood as unrecorded annals of oblivion 老黄歴, and as I understand it, it was due to how horrendously torrid it were for the most. and it both saves the face, and stills the heart, if we were to pretend it had never occured to us--- that senseless demimonde which asks the youthful prostitution of the pure soul to sell themselves as being an innocuous thing to authorities, mundane or supermundane, in real or fancied struggles with illusions and delusions, and only sometimes they see truth from their heart.
