もともと音楽や絵画などの芸術の魅力は「破壊と構築を繰り返し、今までのものをどう変えていくか」というところにあると感じている。
一番大切にしたいことは、自分が今まで積み上げてきた芸術の文脈、音楽の文脈にちゃんと敬意を払うこと。自分のやることは、そういう文脈の上に構築されているので、自分が納得できるかどうかをいちばん大事。だから、アーティストとしての目標も納得できる作品を作り続けること。
