Today, I want to introduce Yale University’s library “Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library”

1.highly valuable historical book

The museum exhibits highly valuable historical books such as the “Gutenberg Bible” and “Walden,” based on Thoreau, and John James Audubon's, “American Bird Book.” There are a whopping 10,000 visits from researchers each year. The large collection of priceless treasure that sleeps here unfortunately attracts bad apples as there are even recorded cases of a map dealer going so far as committing grand theft!

2.uniquely beautiful

The bookshelves of Yale's Beinecke Library are uniquely beautiful. However, the beauty doesn’t lie only in the enormous glass bookshelf where 180,000 books are displayed, but also the large panels of translucent Vermont marble. On a clear day, the sun passes through the marble, and the interior is faintly cast in gold and amber. Please enjoy the thoughtful design from the viewpoint of library protection.

Books are only in the translucent marble-walled library. In fact, one million more are stored underground. Starting with American literature, Western American literature, and German literature,
