アーモンドビスケットを作る

アーモンドビスケットで午後のおやつにスパイスティーを添えて。 観葉植物のお手入れをした後は特に美味しかったです。                                          Almond Biscuits for an afternoon snack with some spice tea. It was especially delicious after cleaning the houseplants. 

As stated in the name, these biscuits are made using almonds.              The crushed almonds give the biscuits a splendid texture.                          名前にあるように、これらのビスケットはアーモンドを使用して作られています。 砕いたアーモンドはビスケットに素晴らしい食感を与えます。

The almonds can easily be crushed in many ways, pounding the almonds inside a bag, or by using the tool for cracking crab shells.                         アーモンドは、バッグの中でアーモンドを叩いたり、カニの殻を割るためのツールを使用したりするなど、さまざまな方法で簡単に粉砕できます。

Add some chocolate if you prefer the biscuits to be sweeter.                    ビスケットを甘くしたい場合は、チョコレートを追加します。

Today, I cut the dough into the size which would be well suited to be a snack to enjoy along with spice tea.                                                              今日は、スパイスティーと一緒におやつにぴったりの大きさに生地をカットしました。

Once the butter inside the biscuits begins to melt, the wonderful scent overflows out from the oven.                                                                        ビスケットの中のバターが溶け始めると、オーブンから素晴らしい香りが溢れ出します。

About once a week, I wipe the surface of the lemon tree's leaves to prevent any dust from covering the plant's leaves.                                    So, I decided to to this today.                                                                          レモンの木の葉の表面を週に1回程度拭き、ほこりが植物の葉を覆わないようにします。 それで、今日はこれをすることにしました。

I have found that this is actually very important to keep houseplants healthy.                                                                                                            観葉植物を健康に保つためには、これが実際に非常に重要であることがわかりました。

If the surface of the leaves is covered by something, the plant's ability to absorb what it needs from the sun is negatively affected.                         葉の表面が何かで覆われていると、太陽から必要なものを吸収する植物の能力が悪影響を受けます。

Plant which are outside receive rain and wind constantly, so dust or any other foreign matter will not accumulate. But, this is an element which does not exist indoors.                                                                                    外にある植物は常に雨や風が吹くので、ホコリなどの異物がたまりません。しかし、これは屋内には存在しない要素です。

Let's remember to wipe the leaves of houseplants once in a while.          観葉植物の葉をたまに拭くことを忘れないでください。

Today's meal was braised pork belly.                                                          The rice chosen for this dish was Indian rice.
