Stories after having studied abroad...

I came back to Japan in December, 2009.

Many encounters waited for me there, which mentally developed me a lot.

I lived in the dorm at the university by myself, which made me experience many things there and I came to apprecite my parents and I thought I shouldn't take it for granted at that time.

In America, I joined in a taekwondo club.　In Japan, I belong to a tennis club, but I just wanted to challenge new things there. In addition, the leader (or master) of the club was native American and I just want to know his culture and the way he lives.

I practiced it 4 days in a week..., which was really enjoyable, but very tough actually…

On the other hand, on Saturday or Sunday, I took part in some volunteer activities. I just wanted to do everything I could do during my stays in America.

After I went back to Japan, 3 week's teaching practice at junior high school and job huntings were waiting for me.

I also worked in a computer room controlled by the international communication department at Kansai Gaidai university as a part time job.

Therefore, I was actually "super busy" at that time.

Furthermore, I needed to take the interview by a professor before going to a junior high school as a trainee teacher.

During the interview, he said to me,

"Did you learn English in America, didn't you???"

I admitted that I couldn't performe my ability well for sure...I was really nervous.

He and other professors requested the students to pass Eiken pre 1st grade and get the score of TOEIC 700 at least to go to teaching practice as Kansai Gaidai's student at that time.

For the above reasons, I needed to learn English to take those tests as well...for speaking test, I have confidence since my communication skills have been improved a lot at the taekwondo club at the university.

The problem was the 1st stage of the Eiken's test... I had to memorize English words of the level and practiced the writing test. I took advantage of the time in the train, bus and the break time of the part time job. As for the speaking test, I checked the topics that are likely to be the test topics in Japanese and after understanding the background knowledge in English, I checked the English words and expressions.

Several months later, my efforts paid off.

Before his class, I submitted the necessary certifications to the speaker's platform.

"Congratulations"
