My experiences in NZ #22

Hello there.
I’d love to continue from where I ended last time.

In my last blog, I mentioned one more week’s extension of the language school and homestay; I learned there for five weeks.

The students referred to host families from the school were supposed to leave when the school was over and needed to look for new new places to stay, such as another host family or flat.

Luckily, one day in the fifth week, my host mother suggested I continue homestay with them after finishing learning at the school in secret.
And she asked me how much I paid for the homestay fee to the school, and I answered.
I don’t remember the exact amount, but she said they received $170NZ per week from the school after being deducted a fee, so I only paid that amount.

I appreciated her suggestion since I didn’t need to move and could stay cheaper than before; it also built a feeling of safety for my family in Japan.
In addition, it was reasonable for my host family; they could earn constantly and comfortably because I was harmless for them except for making a queue of ants.

That’s all for today, and to be next time.
See you around.
