週に2回、英語で日記を書くことになりました。（英会話の先生からの課題）

英会話の先生に課題を出されました。

先生にやると言ってしまったので、
頑張ってみたいと思います。
（忙しさがさらにUPしてしまう〜＾＾；。。。）

とりあえず、
添削前と添削後の、
日記の記録を残しておきたいので、
noteを日記の記録媒体として
使ってみることにします。

〜英語日記①〜

添削前

I went to a kickboxing experience on Thursday.
(This is an influencer job that I've received many times in recent years.)

When I was in elementary school, I attended a Shorinji Kempo lesson(school?).

I advanced to brown belt.

At that time, I learned to punch and kick "in a jiffy".
I don't know if it was because I was a child or the school's policy.

As an adult, I also studied a little Tae Kwon Do.
I learned mainly “kata”, not “fighting”.

So I had no experience in kicking people.

So I was hesitant at first.
But this time, the instructor was very good, and by the end of the 60-minute lesson, I was able to kick the teacher.

This kickboxing school just opened this month.
He wanted to get lots of people to introduce the school on social networking sites, so he used this system.
After the school, I immediately put a video and photos on my Instagram to introduce his school.

I enjoyed it very much.

先生からの解説

Elementary schoolはアメリカ英語。イギリスだと、primary school。もしくは、年齢によって変わる。
Infant school (義務教育の前。幼稚園？みたいなイメージかな？)
Primary school 義務教育スタート。5歳〜11歳
Secondly school (Middle school) 11歳〜16歳
College (日本の高校のような位置付け。でも義務教育ではない。2年間）
義務教育は、5〜16歳までの11年間。

　英国の義務教育は，5～16歳の11年間（Y1～Y11）です。初等教育はプライマリースクールと呼ばれ，5～7歳対象の前期課程と7～11歳対象の後期課程に分かれることが多く，両者は1つの学校として併設されることが一般的です。
　中等教育はセカンダリースクールと呼ばれ，11～16歳までが対象です。セカンダリースクールでは，学年が終わるたびに試験を受けます。また，16歳で義務教育（Y11）を修了すると、GCSE（General Certificate of Secondary Education）という義務教育修了試験を受けます。GCSEは英語，数学，理科のほか，宗教，歴史，地理，フランス語，技術，美術など50科目程度が用意されています。義務教育終了後は，大学進学希望者はシックスフォームと呼ばれる高等教育進学準備教育課程に進みます。
　英国では，学校が課程の修了者に卒業証書を出すという伝統はなく，一般に生徒は各教育段階の最後にそのレベルに応じた外部資格試験を受験します。大学への進学は，GCSEの結果とシックスフォームでの成績によって合否が決定されます。

格闘技の型や組み手は、そのままイギリスで使われてる。
Kata とKumite。

習い事を言いたいときの、Lesson とschool 。
1回きり、単発の習い事は、a lesson。
継続して通っている習い事は、lessons。もしくは、a schoolで表す。

感想

教育制度が、日本と全然違うんだなと思いました。
そして、ものすごく複雑＾＾；
全く知りませんでした。
そして、アメリカとUKでも全く違うんだなあと。
また、格闘技の用語で、日本語がそのまま使われているというのにもびっくり！
