今日の焼き菓子作り：チョコレートビスケット

たった8つの材料で、午後のおやつ、チョコレートビスケットを作ることができます。  小麦粉、バター、牛乳、卵、砂糖、塩、ベーキングパウダー、チョコレート。                                                                                              With just eight ingredients one can make a splendid snack for the afternoon, chocolate biscuits.                                                                          Flour, butter, milk, egg, sugar, salt, baking powder, and chocolate.   

When making the dough, I recommend mixing the butter completely with the flour before adding the milk and egg, by doing that it becomes easier to make a smooth and even dough.                                                   生地を作るときは、牛乳と卵を加える前にバターと小麦粉を完全に混ぜることをお勧めします。                                                                                          そうすることで、滑らかで均一な生地を作りやすくなります。

The chocolate I am using today is a chocolate made for baking, the difference from normal chocolate is that it keeps its shape and does not melt completely.
(I think it is possible to find this type of chocolate where there are baking related products.)                                                                               私が今日使っているチョコレートは、ベーキング用に作られたチョコレートですが、通常のチョコレートとの違いは、形を保ち、完全に溶けないことです。                                                                                                                （このタイプのチョコレートは、ベーキング関連の製品がある場所で見つけることができると思います。）

Cut the dough into small pieces, and then we'll flatten them to make the shape.                                                                                                                生地を細かく切って平らにし、形を整えます。

The time it takes for the biscuits to bake is about 10 to 15 minutes.           ビスケットが焼けるのにかかる時間は約10〜15分です。

It was a slightly crisp and tasty treat that went well with a warm cup of spice tea.                                                                                                           ほんのりサクサクしていて美味しいおやつで、温かいスパイスティーとよく合いました。

With the cool spring breeze flowing through the open window, it was a very enjoyable moment.                                                                                 開いた窓から涼しい春のそよ風が流れ、とても素敵なひとときでした。
