本日は文学仲間fatmeから教えてもらった、アラビア語書籍3作品について、綴らせていただきます。

Today, We want to introduce "Three masterpieces of Arabic literature"

※基礎知識。日本以外の国では読書＝聖書との回答が返ってくる国は、アジアでも世界でも地域によって多く存在します。
また、もちろんいわゆる文学といっても定義や作りは国ごとによって全く異なります。いわゆる"文学"を選書していく予定ではありますが、初期の段階では、"読書"という言葉に焦点を当てさせていただきます。＝また作品の紹介においても、各国の読者が共感しやすい箇所を抜粋予定です。

2-1.The pistachio theory

Fahad Al-Amiri🇸🇦 : writer and journalist

summary:アラビア圏で、流行してる「ピスタチオ理論」という考え方を学べる作品です。

本書では、簡単に説明すると、考え方や適切なタイミングでの決断の仕方について述べたもので、小さなミスがいかに人間全体の人生を破壊しうるかについて述べています。

This is a work that allows you to learn about the "pistachio theory," a popular concept in the Arabic world. In brief, this book describes how to think and make decisions at the right time, and how small mistakes can destroy the lives of entire human beings.

2-2 Muqaddimah (introduction)

Ibn Khaldun🇪🇬:

summary: The Muqaddimahとは、前近代世界における最も重要なイスラーム史です。14世紀の偉大なアラブ人学者イブン・ハルドゥーン（1406年没）によって書かれたこの記念碑的著作は、歴史哲学、社会学、民族学、経済学など、いくつかの知識分野の基礎を確立しました。

The Muqaddimah is the most important Islamic history of the premodern world: this monumental work, written by the great 14th century Arab scholar Ibn Khaldūn (d. 1406), established the foundation for several fields of knowledge, including historical philosophy, sociology, ethnology, and economics.

2-3 Children of Gebelawi

Naguib Mahfouz🇪🇬:ノーベル賞作家

summary: この物語は、3つの一神教であるアブラハム宗教（ユダヤ教、キリスト教、イスラム教）の相互リンクした歴史を、19世紀の架空のカイランの路地を舞台に寓話化して再現しています。

The story recreates the interlinked history of the three monotheistic Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), allegorised against the setting of an imaginary 19th century Cairene alley.
