Chongqing trip 2024 Day2

Hello, everyone! I'm Mochi!
Thank you for sending me lovely messages last time! I hope you guys liked my Chongqing blog! This time, I continue writing about Chongqing trip!

Second day, we woke up at 4am and went to Zhou Jia Mountain (周家山) to watch the sunrise!

We arrived there at 6am, but the sky was still dark.

Unfortunately, because of the previous day's rain, the sky was so foggy.
Besides, we waited pretty long time! After 1.5hours, we finally could see the sunrise!

Many people brought their own drones, but we didn't.
Although we tried our best, this is the best shot;)

After that, we went to eat Chongqing noodles (重庆小面)!
Chongqing noodles are as famous as hotpots!

You can choose eating it outside or inside!!
There were many small restaurants near this road.

We ordered less spicy, but they were still too spicy for us!
Although taste was good, I couldn't eat them without water.

After eating noodles, we went to Chongqing people's auditorium (人民大礼堂)!

To be honest, except for this hall, there was nothing… But this building was so stunning!

It was so hot on that day, so we ate Chinese soup dessert!
Have you ever seen this white food which is long and thin? This is called 凉虾(Liangxia), which is made of rice. 凉虾 means cold shrimp! Of course, this is not shrimp. It looks like shrimps, that's why this is called 凉虾(Liangxia).

There are some fruits, peanuts, boba and 凉虾!
Soup's taste is brown sugar! This is not too sweet, so it's suitable for muggy weather!

Chongqing has two big oldtowns. We went both of them!

After that, we went to eat dinner! We choose Chinese barbecue!
We can choose our favorite ingredients and give them to staffs! They fried the ingredients for us!

When I eat Chinese barbecue, beer is a must!!
This is a Chongqing's beer! It was too light taste for me…

This building is called Hongya Cave (洪崖洞)!!
There's night view is so beautiful! There were so many people in 洪崖洞, 
so, I recommend you guys don't go inside and just watch 洪崖洞 from the bridge!
