What is important for those who teach something to children

In my last article, "Tips for teaching children with developmental disorders how to study" I talked about

In this article, I would like to talk about What is important for those who teach something to children.

The key to learning to do well is to wait, believe, and praise.

Whenever I teach something, I am always careful not to force my child, but to wait for him to notice what he needs to learn and to believe that they will be able to do it someday. For parents, it is easy to feel impatient and anxious, thinking "You have to get your child to learn quickly" or "Your child may not be able to do it forever.

However, the best thing to do is to take your time and be thorough with them and praise them when they can do something, even just a little. (Especially praise the process) If you do such a thing, you will surely be able to do it someday. No matter how much the teacher tells the child, the child will not act until he or she understands.

Therefore, we have to wait. In the meantime, we give them lots of different hints and watch over them. I can't wait for them to notice. And praise them as soon as they do something, even if it's only halfway through the process. This is what I do repeatedly.

They may not be able to do it at first, but if they keep on believing that they will be able to do it someday, they will be able to do it before they know it. I've been doing it this way for a long time, never rushing, never getting angry, and never getting frustrated. As a result, my son still relies on me even now that he's a little older.
