Education Pioneers -finalist-

Last time I explained about my internship application (Education Pioneers).
以前、ブログでインターンシップについてEducation Pioneersに応募しているという話をさせていただきました。

1. グループ面接

その後、グループ面接（３時間）がありました。
内容としては、

・イントロダクション（１５分）

・ある学校のTeacher Evaluation Systemに関する既存の情報と、解決策として考えられる４案が提示。（２０分で資料を読み込み）

・そのうちグループで１案に絞り、理由とともにプレゼンテーションの準備（１時間強）

・グループ対抗でプレゼンテーション＆質疑応答（３０分）

・ラップアップ（１５分）

という感じ。

After that, I had a group interview (3 hours) in mid-Feb.
It was composed of
・Introduction (15 min)
・Reading (20min, about teacher evaluation system in a certain school and four options for improvement)
・Group discussion to decide on one option and prepare for a presentation (more than 1hour)
・Group Presentation followed by Q&A (30 min)
・Wrap-up (15 min)

最初の２０分でとにかく４案のEvaluationの基準の相違点の分析と、適用対象の学校と比較したときにどの部分（デモグラフィー、テストスコアのランキング、関係者の満足度等）の類似性に重点を置くべきかを考えました。

グループディスカッションでは、議論をまとめることはあまり出来ませんでしたが、他の参加者が持っていなかった視野を提示することは比較的できたのではないかと思います。

I spent the reading time on analyzing differences in the criteria for teacher evaluation and what to emphasize when applying each option to a certain school (demography, test score ranking and satisfaction of stakeholders, etc).

In a group discussion, I could present a new perspective that other participants did not recognize although I was not good at facilitating discussion.

2. 結果は・・・？

そして、先日結果の通知がきまして・・・・

無事、Finalistになることができました！！

これからインターン先とのMatching＆Placementのプロセスに移行します。

実はすでにインターン先をほぼ１つ決めていて、それとのバランスも上手く考えながら調整したいなと思います。

And here comes the result...

I became a finalist!!

This means that I will move to macthing and placement process.
Actually I already solidified one internship position, so I'll have to think about how to allocate my time during this summer.
