【イギリス留学#19】効果的な学習方法

今日も相変わらずしんどめの授業があったので、その様子を書いていきたいと思います。ただ今週から友達と話し合って、火曜日は外食の日に決まったので、今日の夜は外食に行く予定です。

ちなみに今日のカバー画像(サムネイル)はその外食に行った帰りに撮った写真です。夜のイギリスの街並みは本当におしゃれです。

Effective learning methods

What makes good learning? What helps people learn?

今日の授業はこの問いの答えを考えるというグループワークから始まりました。知識やスキルを向上させるためには、どのような物が必要なのかをグループで意見を出して考えます。こんな意見が出ました。

movie
game
Internet
rest
talk friends
surrounded motivated people
teach other people own knowledge

そしてここで出た解答を3つにジャンル分けしました。僕たちのグループではこのようにジャンル分けを行いました。

media→music/movie/game/Internet
lifestyle→rest/talk friends/surrounded motivated people
study→dictionary/teach other people own knowledge

The biggest influence on learning is the actions of the learner?

次に今まで出た解答の中から、どの学習方法が効果的なのかを考えて、どのような順番で学んでいけばいいのかを考えました。僕たちのグループで出た意見はこんな感じです。

①Love learning
→interested in your study field to use movie, music etc…
②Learn from others
→your knowledge share others.

これを発表したのは僕だったのですが、最初に「2つあって～」とか言ってから話せばよかったのに、上手くまとめないまま話してしまいました。次から気を付けます。ちなみに先生の解答はこちらです。

Essay

今まで出した意見を基にEssayの構成を練っていきます。ちなみに僕たちが考えたEssayの構成はこちらです。大体こんなこと書くかな～っていうのを3つに分けて書いています。

【Introduction】
Nowadays many factors affect our learning. Understanding what affects learning is important because they can control themselves. This essay will discuss environment and information.

【Body paragraph】
One factor which affect learning is environment such as noise, smell, technology, surrounded people. If you study in noisy classroom, you can’t concentrate on study. And you are surrounded by unmotivated people, you too will lose motivation.
Another factor which affects learning is information. If you have wrong information, you can’t study in an efficient way. You should get right information on media.

【Conclusion】
In conclusion, environment and information can affect learning. You should make good environment before you start to study. And you get right information, you should study in an efficient way.

おわりに

先週に教科書が届くはずだったのですが、色々手違いがあったみたいで、今日教科書が届きました。割と難しそうだし、色々テストとかも大変そうなので、今後も頑張っていきたいと思います。

英語日記

英語力向上のために留学期間中は英語日記を書いています。英語で上手く話せなかったことを書くことが多いです。まだまだ英語力が乏しいですが、暖かい目で読んでください。※Chat-GPTで修正はしています。

The other day, I wrote in post #4 that the cardboard box with the dishes in my room was missing. I assumed that the cleaner had removed it, but they claimed they had not. Then who had removed it? I'm creeped out.

Today, I went to a Japanese restaurant because I was curious about Japanese food in the UK. The clerk asked me a simple question, but I assumed that understanding native English speakers would be difficult, so I couldn't catch what she said. She asked, ”Is that for here or to go?” and ”Is that all?” I hope to respond more smoothly next time. By the way, the dish was excellent!
