シリアのアレッポに住む方とお話して、急遽日本語レッスンをボランティアでやることに。

シリアのアレッポに住む方とオンラインでお話しました。
武力による危険はほとんどないそうです。ですが、度重なる経済制裁、輸出入の規制によってエコノミーは壊滅的。物価の高騰もすさまじい。1ヶ月に1人あたり$200必要なのに、フルタイムの月収は$25。時給、日給じゃなくて月給です。
インターネットで知っていた情報だけど、やっぱり生の声で聞くのは天と地の差。

本当に悲しかったけど、その方たちは、全然悲観してなくて、昔からの夢である日本に行くことを目指して日本語の勉強。加えて、その先の夢は、日本でゲーム関係の仕事をすること。そのために3Dアートの勉強もしているそう。

目が本当に輝いていて、学べる環境があることがいかに幸せで尊いことかを改めて投げかけてくれました。まだまだ自分にできることはたくさんあるなあと。
ということで、トルコに滞在しながら難民支援の準備をするかたわら、ボランティアで日本語レッスンを毎週することを提案しました。そしたらこれまた大喜び。こんなに喜んでくれるならいくらでもチカラになりたい。そしてまだまだ未熟な自分でもチカラになれることが本当に嬉しい。

大局観を持ってプロジェクトを進めていくこと。
目の前の方に手を差し伸べること。
どちらもとても尊いことだと思うので、遠慮なくどちらも追求していきます。

Today, I talked to people who live in Aleppo, Syria.
There is no dangerous because of attacking.
But due to many of economic sanctions and trade restrictions, economic situation is terrible. That’s the most biggest problem for them.
It need $200 for each person per month. but monthly salary is just $25, even though they work as a full time worker.I knew that from Internet. but it made me still upset to hear directly.

I was so sad, but surprisingly they didn’t get down. They still never give up their dream. that’s to go to Japan and work in a game industry as a 3D artist.
I realized it’s so happy and precious things to have an opportunity to learn.
And i still have what i can do more.

Then, i decided to give Japanese lesson to them once a week for free.
And they were over the moon.
I want to support them as much as i can if they delight like this.

To drive the project with a big perspective.
To support people around you.
Both are important in my opinion.
That’s why i’ll do both.
