#14 The Sun also Shines [PART3. Spain] ep.III "30€"

I enjoyed reclette cheese at a restaurant in Shibuya with my friend for the last time in a while, and then stayed at a hotel near Narita Airport. I was relieved to be able to say goodbye to this crazy heatness of Tokyo. Sleep over must be avoided by this alarm set, I went to sleep early.

It wasn't the best flight experience going Madrid from Tokyo directly with Iberia. A panphlet which was distributed to all the passengers had excaclty the same Japanese sentences for some films.

It was 9pm when I arrived in Barajas Airport and hopped in a taxi after over twelve-hour flight. The fare from the airport to city center is settled at 30 euros, so I wasn't worried to get overcharged. A driver can't understand English for sure, so I managed to pretend being able to understand Spanish with smiles and terrible responses, and waited to reach the destination.

This is a bad Japanese habit. I couldn't understand even one tenth.

Eventually I got to an entrance and a host-mother took me to my room. After she explainning things, I hang a suit taking out from a suitcase.

As I sit on a bed, I found it the deeply softest. It was satisfying enough. The room has a desk, a shelf, and a lamp next to the bed. It was quite simple but big enough.

Host-mother and I went to an office at a station to make an IC transportation card. Diffrent from Japanese ones, it requires a photo of user. It is possibly because I buy it with student discount. It costs only 20 euros for buses, metro, and some trains. It is much cheaper than that of Sapporo.

In the afternoon, I went to a police station to make a residency card. Even though I explained for two articles, the visa is valid for only first three months which means it will be expired at the end of November. That's why I need to obtain the residency card.

According to my reserch, this also will take about two months for applying, so I had to begin it as soon as I crossed the border. I found the nearest police office on the Internet, but they told me they don't accept it there and gave me a piece of paper on which they wrote the correct address to go.

It might be because I walked around, no, it is obviously hot.

I rather feel the sky is close than feeling the sun near. The sun isn't close, but its light is strong, however, it is not as cruel as Tokyo because it's dry out here. That city was hell.

Somehow my tongue prefers sour food on hot days. The first eat out was ceviche at a Peruvian restaurant near the police office. It was a kind of marinated fish dish. I already ate raw fish.
