今話題のChatGPT、使ってみましたか？とりあえず、わたしも知らないので、まずChatGPTさんにご自身に関する記事を書いてもらいました。
OpenAIとは、2015年にイーロンマスクらが設立した人工知能（AI）研究所出そうで、実はそれから7年も経っているんですね。使い方は簡単で、ChatGPTのサイトにアクセスしてG Mailと電話番号などでサインアップするだけです。
さて、ChatGPTがすごいのは上のような記事が一瞬で書けるだけではありません。こちらの要望を会話として伝えると、すぐに応じてくれるところです。

英語の授業だとめちゃ使えそう
英語の長文を書いたり、問題作成のサンプル文を作ったり、はたまた会話や議論を想定したりといろんな用途が考えられます。
レベルごとの長文問題に使う英文を書いてもらう
次の単元がシンガポールの水問題なので、NEWaterに関して書いてもらいました。とりあえずこのくらいで。

この後、「2人は原告側、2人は被告側」と指定。
これも1秒で完成。
ただシナリオ作ってーだけだと荒いから、色んな人物設定をしてからの方が良さそう。

やはり、授業デザインを大切にしてきた人が使うとこんなにクリエイティブになりますね。今までだと、資料を調べながら一つ一つ書いていたわけですが、ChatGPTがものの数十秒でこういう答えを吐き出してくれるともう、授業デザインそのものが大きく変わって来ます。
日本ならではの文法用語や出題形式は厳しい
ただし、日本独特の文法用語などにままだまだ対応できませんでした。聞いてみるとわかるのですが、日本語での独立分詞構文という謎の説明の後、ただの分詞構文の例文が続きました。
うん、痒いところに全然手が届かない。並べ替え問題も作ってもらいましたが、なかなか。英検ぽくしてくれるように頼みましたが、ちょっとわからないようです。ただ、説明もついていて楽しい。
すでに禁止する動きも
生徒からすれば、ChatGPTをつかうことで課題のエッセーは秒でできてしまいます。これは思考力の低下につながると考えられても仕方のないことです。ニューヨーク市は利用を禁止するようです。
「疑問に対する回答を迅速かつ簡単に得ることができるかもしれないが、学問や人生で成功を収めるために不可欠となる、クリティカルシンキングや問題解決のスキル育成にはつながらない」と、同局広報のJenna Lyle氏は語った。
さいごに
堀尾さんも言っていますが、ChatGPTがこれだけ使えるようになると、授業デザインや英語学習そのものが大きく変化します。これはもはやDeepL級の黒船。
今後、教師側こそ思考力や判断力、創造力が試される時代になるのは間違いなさそうです。何せ、ドリルも思考力系もAIがここまでできるようになっているのですから。愉しい時代が来ています！
