Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, can be reached in as little as 93 minutes by take a Joetsu-Shinkansen from Ueno Station. This town is known as a "manufacturing town" and was ranked number one in the ranking of people who want to move there. Also, the station name "TSUBAMESANJO" was chosen as the third coolest station name. There are 1,270 factories (KOUBA) in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture. We manufacture exquisite parts that are unique in the world, and our craftsmanship is recognized around the world. It was selected as the Grand Prix winner at the ``RED DOTS AWORD'' held in Germany, and the reputation of its manufacturing is being recognized around the world. In addition to industrial parts, this town is famous for knives, Japanese nails, and hammered copperware made by traditional blacksmith groups. We also make accessories using sophisticated tools. As for agricultural products, we produce Koshihikari rice, which is representative of Japan, as well as the legendary fruit Lulectche (pear), strawberries, grapes, and peaches.
About a 30-minute drive away, you will find Yahiko Shrine, which was built over 2,400 years ago, and an abundance of seafood producing areas overlooking the Sea of Japan.
This town, where sake that is highly rated around the world was born, is dotted with a variety of wonderful spots that are still unknown. Please go on a trip and find out for yourself.

この町は「ものづくりのまち」と呼ばれており、移住したいランキングでは1位に選ばれました。また「TSUBAMESANJO」という駅名はかっこいい駅名3位に選ばれました。
新潟県三条市には1270社の工場（KOUBA)があります。世界で唯一無二の精巧な部品は製造され職人の技術も世界で認められています。
ドイツで開催された「RED DOTS AWORD」ではグランプリに選ばれ、ものづくりの評価は世界に認められつつあります。
この町で製造されるものは、工業部品の他に、伝統的な鍛冶集団が作る包丁や和釘、槌目銅器が有名。精巧な工具を使用した、アクセサリー作りもあります。
農産物では日本を代表とするコシヒカリ米の生産、幻のフルーツLulectche（洋梨）、イチゴ、ブドウ、モモの生産があります。
車で30分ほど移動すると、2400年以上前に建てられた弥彦神社、日本海を望む海産物の産地も豊富にあります。
世界で評価が高い日本酒が生まれたこの町にはまだまだ知られていない様々な素晴らしいスポットが点在します。
