で如何ですか？　なんという表現、日本語と表現は違いますが日本語圏でも意思は通じますね。

Cambridge Dictionary曰く：
a little bird told me:　used to say that you have heard a piece of information about someone from someone else

例文
"How did you know it was my birthday?" "Α little bird told me."
A little bird told me that they used to work together.

今回の使い方：　数年前に別れた彼女をいまだに忘れない彼氏とその友人

友人：　おまえまだ、新しい彼女を見つけないのか？　前の彼女を忘れられないのか？

彼氏:　Α little bird told me:　She is married and has two kids.
　　 （風の噂では：　彼女は結婚し、２人の子供がいるって）
