A private paper on the best way of improving your reading speed

There are more books than you can read in front of you. If your time is limited but you want to read them, you will be sure to wish that you could improve your reading speed. 

Of course, there might be some ways to improve your movement of eyes, but unless your ability to comprehend the contents of books improves, your attempt to move your eyes with rapidity will surely go to the drain. 

Even if you could read a book or watch a movie twice as fast as now, your understanding would not catch up with the speed. 

In my opinion, it might be better to read less books unnecessary for you than to read more books.  

In order to improve your reading skills, you have to read at least one hundred books or so. But by the time you have finished reading one hundred books you have chosen, you will be able to distinguish good books from bad ones. 

The point is that reading books fast is, in a sense, reading less books. Being able to read fast is equivalent to reading less, and at the same time, all you have to do is to read the books that you have already read thoroughly. By enriching your knowledge, you can skip some passages that you have already known the meaning of when you open a new book.
