広く先を見る | Look ahead with wide view

線を引く時、集中するとペン先ばかりに目がいってしまいます。
それだと長い曲線を描く際にスムーズに繋がっていきません。
少し力を抜いて、今ペン先がある場所よりも先を意識して描くと良いと以前教わりました。
「先読み」みたいな感じです。

それに加えて、出来るだけ画面と目の距離をとって、目をしっかり開いて視野を広くすると全体のバランスの中でラインを導き出せます。
「視野拡張」みたいな感じで。

この「先読み」「視野拡張」みたいなものを意識するだけでも結構きれいなラインが引けると思います。
僕には効果が随分あります。

この感覚も他のシチュエーションでも同じように使える気がします。
絵を描く中でも色んな発見があります。
そんな事を感じた今日でした。

今日の作品は下書きまで。

When drawing a line, I concentrate too much, so I'll end up focusing view only on the nib.
This makes it difficult to draw long curved lines smoothly.
I was once taught that it is better to relax a little and focus on ahead the nib rather than where it is.
It's like "reading ahead".

In addition, if you keep your eyes as far away from the screen as possible and more open your eyes to widen your field of vision, you can draw lines in the overall balance.
It's like "fields of view expansion".

Just by being aware of this "reading ahead" and "fields of view expansion", you can draw a beautiful line.
At leas it is very effective for me.

I think this feeling can be used in other situations as well.
There are many things to discover in painting.
That's what I felt today.
