iPadの向き | iPad orientation

僕は12.9インチのiPad Proで絵を描いています。
Procreateというアプリを使っています。
とてもシンプルで使いやすく人気のあるアプリです。
有料ですが買い切りで1,220円とお手頃価格です。

さて、今日はiPadの向きについてです。

結論から言うとiPadを縦にして描くのとても良いです。

僕は長いラインを描く時に上から下に縦方向に描く方が描きやすいんです。
（横方向の方が描きやすい方もいるかもしれません。）
なので画面上で絵の向きをくるくる回転させて、
手の動きは上から下に縦方向で描いている事が多いです。

以前はiPadのカバーをスタンド代わりにしていたのでどうしてもiPadの長辺が横になる使い方になっていました。
今はスタンドを使っているので縦横どちらでも角度を付けて描くことが出来ます。

iPadの長辺を縦にすることで、ラインを長く描くのが非常に楽になりました。
iPadの長辺を横にしていた時と比べ、画面内での描画位置の移動が随分少なくなり効率もアップしました。

今日はそんな事を感じながらメラメラした感じのラインを引いています。
明日は完成出来ると思います。

As it turns out, it is very good to draw with the iPad in portrait mode.

When I draw long lines, I find it easier to draw vertically from top to bottom.
(There may be some people who find it easier to draw horizontally.)
So, I rotate the orientation of the picture on the screen, And the hand movements are often drawn vertically, from top to bottom.

In the past, I used the iPad cover as a stand, so I had to use the long side of the iPad as the horizontal side.
Now I use the stand, so I can draw at any angle, horizontally or vertically.

By setting the long side of the iPad vertically, it became much easier to draw long lines.
Compared to when I used to draw horizontally, there is much less movement of the drawing position in the screen, which improves efficiency.

Today I am drawing lines like fire, feeling that way.
I think I can finish it tomorrow.
