So, she knew the name〈JOH NIIJIMA〉.

　お元さんの渡欧は、結局南方のイスパニア(現スペイン)に辿り着いたのですが、その時に合法違法含めた海外渡航者の、日本人コミュニティーに巡り合わせたのです。
　そこで「新島襄」の名を知ることとなったのです。

After some passengers came back to our country JAPAN, those men run out here once, they were building some schools, as teachers, as the MEIJI restoration. 
She picked up that news and hit on a method of coming back to our country as the Christians act.
