留学先の高校ボランティアで学んだこと

またお会いできて嬉しいです！

今日は以前紹介した高校での最終勤務日でした。

二ヶ月ほど通ったKent Meridian High School

この高校のマスコット的キャラ

何回も乗ったKent地区とSeattleを繋ぐ高速鉄道

今日のクラスでは、いつも私が担当していた生徒が、彼の夢はアフガニスタンに平和が訪れる日を実現させることだと言っていました。

その夢のために、一生懸命に勉強して、平和な心を代弁するんだそうです。

彼の夢が実現する日が来ることを願っています。

このボランティア団体に従事することで、たくさんのことを学びました。

1 教育の主戦場は紙ではなく、インターネットのプラットフォーム上で行われている

2 デジタルプラットフォームは、以前のスタイルと比較して、学習のために効果的な方法である。

3 場所によって明らかに格差がある。例えば、UWの近くでは肌が白い人を多く見かけるが、高校の近くの地区ではそうではない。

4 英語はバックグラウンドに関係なく人を繋ぐことができる。

5 難民の生徒にも、それぞれ叶えたい大きな夢がある。

きっとここでの経験は今後一生覚えていると思います。

Hi, I am glad to see you again!

Today was the last day working for the high school that I mentioned before.

A student I have been working on told me that his dream is realizing the day when peace comes to Afghanistan.

For the dream, he will work hard, study a lot, and represent the peaceful mindset, he told me.

I hope the day comes when his dream is realized.

By working for the organization, I have learned lots of things.

1 The education is on the internet and platform, not on a notebook.

2 The digital platform is more effective way to learn something compared to the style before.

3 There is an obvious gap depending on places, for example, we can see lots of white people near UW, but it's not in the district near the high school.

4 English can connect people regardless of their backgrounds.

5 Each refugee student has a dream that s/he wish to realize.
