ホログラム制作ノート③　どうやったらきみに会場の感覚を届けられるのだろう

ちょっと思い出してみてほしい。
ライブハウスや劇場、ホールにいた自分を。

前の方の席だと、舞台上の声がどんっと届いたよね？
下手の席にいれば（当たり前かもしれないけれど）右側からたくさんの音が届くし、
上手の席にいれば左の耳によく届く。

まだライブハウスで会えないから、できるだけその感覚を伝えたいと思ったんだ。
だから、ホログラムの私が右を向けば右から、
後ろを向けば後ろから声が聞こえるようにしたい。

だから、ホログラム本体の内側、枠に添う形に細長いスピーカーを設置することにした。
そして、スピーカーごとに出す歌声のボリュームを変更する。

このために使ったシステムは
Logic+プラグインのPanorama。

＊ こちらはPanoramaの画面。デフォルトの状態。
左にみえる四角の中心が自分の場所、ここでは目の前（ななめ前）にスピーカーがある設定。
つまり、ななめ前から音がきこえる状態。　これを動かすことで、聞こえ方が様々に変化する。

会場にいるときのように、
すこしでも「声」そのものの厚みを届けたいから。
電子音は一切使わなかった。

人間の声でリズムを作る。
役者２人が同時に台詞を言う、その抑揚を＜リズム＞として使う。
まるで打楽器のように。

声で作られたリズムに歌をのせる。
彼らの声とハーモナイズするように。

ホログラムの音を聴いたきみが、すこしでも音楽の響きに身を委ねてくれますように。

How can I deliver you a sense in the venue?

Imagine when you were in the venue. Like the club with live music, the theatre and the concert hall.

When you sit in front of the stage, you could listen the voice directly.
When you were stage right, (maybe it sounds obvious.) you could listen from right side, when the left side, your left ear received more sounds.

We cannot see at the venue yet; I’d like to deliver you at lease the sense in the venue.
Like this.
When I in the hologram turn right, you can listen from right.
If I turn back, from back side.

So, my team decided to set the long and thin speakers along the frames inside of the hologram machine.
Each speaker was changed the volume of the singing voice.

For that, the system is Logic & plug-in Panorama.

*This is Panorama default screen.
The center of the left side square is your place. In this screen, there are speakers in diagonally front of you.
It means you can listen from diagonally front. If you move this, how to listen will be changed.

Because I’d like to deliver you “the voice” itself even if only slightly like in the venue, I didn’t use electric sounds.

I made rhythm by human voices.
Two actors spoke the lines at the same time.
I use the cadence as rhythm like the percussion instrument.

On the rhythm by human voices, I sing the melody as harmonize their voice rhythm.

As harmonize with their voice rhythm.

I just hope the hologram music invite you to feel the living music.
