10週間の広田町滞在の中で「Think Globally、Act Locally*」を実践する
「World Camp Nordfyn（ワールドキャンプノーフュンコース）」。
CMCの4ヶ月間のうち、前半の2ヶ月を共に過ごした
”ビャストゥー(Bjartur)” が参加感想文を書いてくれました。

こんにちは、ビャストゥーです
私はフェロー諸島出身の25歳です。
私が日本で10週間経験したことについてお話したいと思います。
私が日本に行こうと思った時にまず最初に思ったことは
「ただ東京にいるだけになっている典型的な観光客になりたくない」
ということでした。
デンマークのホイスコーレで見つけた、
日本で過ごすことができるプログラムの広告がきっかけで、日本とどのように関わるか決めることができました。
（正直なところ、それが広田のホイスコーレを選んだ唯一の理由でした。）
日本に来てからは、
NPO法人SETの素晴らしいメンバー、CMCの学生たち、
そして、その拠点である広田（日本の東北海岸にある風変わりな小さな村）から、私はたくさん助けてもらいました。
この場所と人々は、10週間の滞在を、
正真正銘、決して色あせることのない思い出にしてくれました。
人々はとても暖かく迎えてくれました。
地球の反対側に住んでいる私でさえ少しも不快に感じることなく、
我が家にいるような気分になることに長い時間はかかりませんでした。
おかげで私はいつも穏やかな気持ちでいられました。
ここでご飯を作るのが何より楽しかった。
広田での生活は、私が慣れ親しんできた文化や生活スタイル、物事への取り組み方とは大きく異なりました。
しかし結局のところ、私たちは皆、同じ人間なのでしょう。
それは広田町で国籍を超えて共同生活をしたことが教えてくれました。
私たちが在籍していたノーフュンスホイスコーレと同じように、
SETはChange Makers' College（以下、CMC）として、日本人メンバーを４ヶ月間受け入れてました。
私たちはCMCの学生たちと一緒に、一つ屋根の下、素敵なシェアハウスで語り合い、ご飯を食べ、遊ぶ中で絆を深めていきました。
他にも私達は農場を訪ねたり、ボランティア活動をしたり、いろいろな活動をしましたが、何よりも大切だったことは、この町で暮らす人と一緒に生活し、笑い、泣いたことでした。
ワールドキャンプノーフュンスコースは、余白の多いスケジュールになっていました。
そうなっていたことで常に新しい機会を得ることができ、
その全ての機会が私にとって新しく、興味深いものでした。
また、そのことから余白の大切さも気づくことができました。
このプログラムでは色々なところから学ぶことができますが
とにかく新しい経験を求めて行動するとより良いと、私は思いました。
行動しなければ、遅かれ早かれ必ず再会することになるであろう、
この素晴らしい人たちに出会うことはできなかったでしょう。
私のような人間がやってきて、ここでの生活の一部になる
私はSETが作るこの体験がとても好きです。
私はなぜこのモデル（højskole × SET）が日本でそれほど知られていないのか不思議です。
もし広田の方々の温かさと、SETの人を惹きつける何かがなければ、私は日本をこれほど楽しむことは出来なかったでしょう。

I'm 25 and I'm from the Faroe Islands.🇫🇴
I'd like to talk about some of the things I experienced in my 10 weeks in Japan ( we were a total of 4, including Katinka, Rasmus and Rosa,🇩🇰x3 )
.( if I were to write it all it'd be too long☺️ )
When I came to Japan my first thought was that I didn't want to be the typical tourist and just be in Tokyo, for example.
I wasn't sure of how I'd approach Japan in this way until I saw an ad for a danish højskole where I could spend the second half of the semester in japan ( and was the only reason why I chose it, to be honest )
Starting up I got a lot ( all ) the help I could get from the Wonderful members of SET ( NPO ) their Students ( CMC ) and their hub, Hirota ( a quaint little village on Japans Northeastern coast)
The location and people added authenticity to the 10 week stay, memories that'll never fade.
I felt at peace all the time.
The people were so welcoming, it didn't take me a long time to feel at home, even though I live on the other side of the world I honestly didn't even feel uncomfortable for one bit
Which means a lot, as it's a way different culture and style of life than what I'm used to and how I approach things in general but we're all still just people at the end of the day.
I''m glad that I had the opportunity to experience that, among other things.
We did a lot of activities together, visited farms, charity work etc. But most important of all, we lived, laughed and cried together.
I love SET's attitude in that they did something different than the usual office job, they created an opportunity for people like me to come over and be a little part of their lives.
This opened my eyes and made me wonder why this model ( højskole / SET ) isn't as popular in Japan.
It's a little escape from the everyday life, it teaches you things at its own pace, the complete opposite of stress.
SET has its own group of students, just like
us ( Worldcamp on NFHS ) Called CMC. we had fun, worked and lived with them in these nice sharehouses, so that we could bond with the CMC students.
Having a loose schedule is great sometimes, that way there's always time for opportunities, it was great fun all around. Quite interesting from my perspective as all was new to me, which you helped me realize.
You can learn through a lot of mediums ( my opinion is to just go for it and seek new experiences, which is what I did. ) Otherwise I wouldn't have met these wonderful people that I will definitely meet again sooner or later.
I strongly recommend that people give SET and its cause a look, it's fun and for a great cause, what more do you need ;).
I don't think that I would've enjoyed Japan as much if It wasn't for these people and their charisma, go SET!(◠‿◕)!
