August 31, 2023: Poem about Sunflowers （ひまわりの詩）
In addition to my article about sunflowers, I was tempted to read a poem about them and found the poem, ‘Ah! sunflower.’ It is a short poem by William Blake, but it is very meaningful and gives me the courage to live.
Then, I translated the poem into Japanese in my own way. The poem is short, but not easy to translate because it gives me a lot of interpretations.
「ひまわり」の記事を書いた後、「ひまわり」の詩を読みたくなりました。英語の詩を探したところ、『ああ！ひまわり』という詩を見つけました。ウィリアム・ブレイクの短い詩ですが、とても意味深く、生きる勇気を与えてくれます。
そして、その詩を自分なりに日本語に訳してみました。短い詩ですが、いろいろな解釈ができるので、訳すのは楽ではありません。
