アニメーションのタイトルは「I Believe」
一人の旅人が様々な場所を旅をし、命の意味を探していく話しです。
The title of this animation is "I Believe".
The man journeys.
He throughs various impressions from life,
and looks for the meaning of life.
Statement of Intent
(生まれた瞬間から何でもある今の世の中だからこそ、私たちは見落としているものがある。)
「生きる」とはなんだろうか。
それは己の存在を認めてもらうことから始まるのではないだろうか。
そして相手の存在を認めることが、自分の存在を認めることでもあると感じている。
難しいことではない。
挨拶をし、相手が返してくれる、道端の小さな花に気づく...
それで十分なのだ。
しかし今日、経験や言葉がデジタル化し、実態が希薄化している。
そして様々な価値観や情報がすばやく流れて行く。
そんな「今」にしがみつく為に、他人の価値観や情報をコピーし、
その中で人々は翻弄され、自分の存在を不安定に感じ、疲弊しているように見える。
自分の存在は(自分は何者なのか、と知るには)
自分と自分の周りの命に目を向けるしか知ることはできないのだと思う。
非情も描くが、大切なことを表すために。
大きな変化を描くが、小さな変化を感じるために描く。
美化することなく、詩的で美しいアニメーションをつくりたい。
主人公は様々な世界と命を見て旅をする。
その目を通して感じてほしい。
日々に疲れた人へ。

Statement of Intent
We are living in an era where everything is within reach, and the world has never seemed smaller. A constant stream of information, pushing and pulling us in all directions, relentlessly demands to be the object of our attention. Very rarely do we ever experience this moment as it truly is, being too lost and caught within the endless distractions. As time passes, this torrent of information becomes our home. It becomes a standard habit for all of us to be lost within it, and rarely notice our desires for more increasing yet our joy for life diminishing. Because of this we tend to lose sight of our happiness and life.
“What Does Life Mean To You?”
I think it starts with recognizing the existence of each other.
And when I recognize you, I’m recognized.
It’s not difficult.
To exchange greetings, notice a nameless flower blooming on the road... We can be happy with just that.
But today,
Language and experience is digitalized, and the reality is diluted.
A barrage of information and values exchange very quickly.
And people try to keep up with this.
However, they become tired and the feeling of one's own existence is unstable and restless.
The way to find one's own existence (to know what I am) is to look at the life around me and myself.
And that leads to peace of mind and healing.
I draw heartless scenes, but to express important things.
I portray chaotic events, but to better frame and emphasize the subtle and the small. I want to make a poetic beautiful animation without beatification.
The Wonder meets various life.
I want you to experience that life with him.
For people who are tired.
