アンディ・ウォーホル（Andy Warhol、1928- 1987 US）
アメリカのポップアート旗手といわれる。

「15分で誰でも有名人になれるだろう 」(In 15 minutes everybody will be famous.)
繰り返し使われたウォーホルの有名な言葉だ。
それは、民主主義国家であるアメリカ合衆国だから、出来たのかも知れない。

ウォーホルのタールピットの部分とイーグルスのホテルカリフォルニアの歌詞

そして、今回、ウォーホルのタールピット（tar pit）の世界とイーグルスのホテルカリフォルニアの歌詞を考えてみたい。
このコラムは、結論のない展開だが・・・

FILM DESCRIPTION:

アンディ・ウォーホルは、大スターで有名人であり、ニューヨークのアートシーンで鮮やかで才能のある変わり者たちにとっての、一種のタールピット（tar pit/アスファルトの池のような）の様な存在でした。ウォーホルは、彼らが奇妙なライフスタイルと大量の薬物使用へと堕落し続けるよう促し、同時に彼らの指導者、エージェント、スポンサーとして活動した。そのウォーホルの「シーン」の一部となったアーティストの 1 人は、路地の壁に落書きをする反社会的な浮浪者だったジャン・ミシェル・バスキアだった。この伝記映画は、バスキアの歩みと、段ボール箱での生活からペントハウス（最上階の高級住宅）への歩み、恋愛、麻薬使用、そして 1988 年に 27 歳で亡くなった。彼の歩みを記録している。
その過程で、彼はアートエージェントのブルーノ・ビショフバーガー (デニス・ホッパー) を含む、金持ちを嫌うことをやめず、純真さを失っていなかった・・・・・
