第10回GOAL発表会「How we can mitigate & adapt to climate change」

Do you think you will have the same lifestyle in 30 years?
Every year and everywhere, we have been seeing lots of massive natural disasters caused by climate change in these decades like heatwaves, floods, drought, forest fires, sea level rise, etc.
The impact changes our lives gradually and rapidly and accelerates wars for food, water, land, and energy resources between countries and people too.
Can we mitigate or adapt the climate change in the future? Let's exchange ideas at the event.

In this event, we invite you to the 10th presentation event of the global online training program "GOAL". The Japanese trainees of the program have been discussing its climate action and the situation in each country with supporters from Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Israel.
On the final day, they will give a presentation to you at this event.
We will also discuss the topic together after the presentation.

*GOAL is an online global training program provided by Alexsolutions. The trainees select one of the themes related to SDGs. They research and discuss it with the supporters from Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Israel which are Alexsolutions-related companies there.

みなさんは30年後の未来、今とまったく同じ生活をしていると思いますか？

たった30年前で比べても、最近は毎年、世界のどこかで洪水・熱波・干ばつ・海面上昇・森林火災などの自然災害の被害が目立つようになってきました。地球温暖化による気候変動と同時に、世界の人口も増え、食糧・水・エネルギー資源・土地をめぐっての争いがどんどん激化しているのも事実です。
このまま地球温暖化を受け入れるのか？それとも何かアクションを起こせるのか、短い時間ですが一緒に考えてみませんか？

このイベントは、アレックスソリューションズが主催するグローバル人材育成プログラム「GOAL」の第10回発表会です。このプログラムには、研修生として世代を超えた日本人数名が参加。SDGsの目標13「気候変動に具体的な対策を」をテーマに５日間、海外の学生と、各国の気候変動の影響とアクションのについてディスカッションしてきました。

イベントでは、前半に日本人研修生の学習のまとめを英語で聞いてもらいます。後半には参加者全員で一緒にディスカッションしていくという流れです。
