しかし、あなたがたは、敵を愛し、人によくしてやり、また何も当てにしないで貸してやれ。
そうすれば受ける報いは大きく、あなたがたはいと高き者の子となるであろう。
いと高き者は、恩を知らぬ者にも悪人にも、なさけ深いからである。

3. 貸し与えること：信頼と信仰に基づく行動
「何も当てにしないで貸してやる」とは、返済を期待せずに、困っている人に金を貸すことを意味します。高利貸しのような行為ではなく、相手のためを思って、真心込めて貸すことが求められます。
貸し与えることは、相手を信頼し、神の恵みを信じていることを示す証となります。たとえ返済されないことがあったとしても、私たちは神を信頼し、感謝の気持ちを抱き続けることができるのです。
4. 神の子としての生き方
これらの行動を実践することによって、私たちは「いと高き者の子」と呼ばれるにふさわしい生き方をすることができます。神は、私たち一人一人を愛し、御自身の子供として招いてくださいます。神の愛を体現し、神の子供として生きることは、私たちに真の喜びと平安をもたらすのです。
私は、敵への愛、施し、貸し与えることは、簡単なことではありません。しかし、神は私たち一人一人を愛し、支えてくださると信じて、真の喜びと平安を得ることができるようにと祈ります。

This verse teaches about love, charity, and lending to one's enemies. Although seemingly contradictory, these verses suggest the importance of actions based on a deep understanding of God and true faith.
1. love for enemies: true forgiveness and reconciliation
To "love one's enemies" in this verse does not mean merely to have emotional affection for them. Rather, it means actively showing good will and treating with tolerance even those with whom we harbor hatred and hostility.
Practicing love for our enemies is not easy. But Jesus asks us to love like God. God loves and forgives us, sinners. We, too, can achieve true forgiveness and reconciliation by following God's example, loving and forgiving our enemies.
2. charity to others: practicing unselfish love
To "do good to others" means to extend a helping hand to those in need without asking for anything in return. Almsgiving is not limited to mere material assistance, but also includes sharing kind words, compassion, time, and effort.
Giving alms brings much greater joy than doing something for oneself. Through almsgiving, we can show God's love in a tangible way and deepen our connection with others.
3. lending and giving: actions based on trust and faith
To "lend without counting on anything" means to lend money to someone in need without expecting repayment. It is not an act of loan sharking, but rather a sincere act of lending with the other person's best interest in mind.
Lending is a sign of trust and faith in God's grace. Even if the loan is not repaid, we can continue to trust God and hold on to our gratitude.
4. living as a child of God
By practicing these actions, we can live in a manner worthy of being called "children of the Most High. God loves each of us and invites us to be His children. Embodying God's love and living as His children brings us true joy and peace.
I know that loving, giving alms, and lending to our enemies is not an easy thing to do. But I pray that we may have true joy and peace, believing that God loves and sustains each of us.
