信仰者は家族・親族が救われて神の家族としても主イエスを一緒に礼拝するようにと願います。

This verse hopes that each believer's faith in the Lord Jesus will spread the message of God's love and salvation to his or her family and those around them. May God bless them.
It contains important lessons to be applied in the life of faith that believers should take to heart and practise in their daily life of faith. Lessons that can be learnt from this passage of Scripture include
1. faith of the deceased: this verse indicates that salvation is obtained through the faith of the deceased. This means that in order to be saved, each individual must believe in the Lord Jesus.
2. influence on the family: the verse suggests that the believer's faith has a positive influence on the family and that they too may be brought to faith. However, family salvation is dependent on each family member individually having faith.
3. justification by faith: reflects the New Testament teaching of salvation by faith alone, not by works. It means that believers are justified before God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by their works.
4. encouragement of family evangelism: believers are encouraged to share their faith with their families and to strive for their salvation. This emphasises the importance of believers actively sharing the gospel with their families and others around them.
I pray for my faith in the Lord Jesus to increase and for the salvation of my family, relatives, acquaintances and friends who do not yet know Him.
