夕闇の荒野をひとり　
くたびれた旅入が歩いていた。

遠く人家の灯りが見える。
頼めば泊めてもらえるかもしれない。

不用心な事に
その家の玄関の扉は開いていた。

見知らぬ家族が食卓を囲んでいる。

老婆がうなずく。
「おかえり。遅かったね」

若者が立ち上がる。
「おかえりなさい。お父さん」

美しい女が微笑む。
「疲れたでしょう。あなた」

旅人は走って逃げる。
「嘘だ。こんなのデタラメだ」

裏返しの星座には見覚えがない。
流れ星が夜空を昇ってゆく。
　

A Traveler

A tired traveler was walking alone
in the wilderness of dusk.

The light of a house in the distance
has come to light.

He might be able to stay if asked.

Even without carelessness,
the door of the entrance of the house was open.

An unknown family is surrounding the table.

An old lady nods.
"Welcome back, you were late."

A young man stands up.
"Welcome back, Dad."

A beautiful woman smiles.
"You must be tired, you."

A traveler runs and runs away.
"It's a lie! This is nonsense!"

He doesn't recognize the inverted constellation.
A shooting star rises in the night sky.
