Hi folks ! How are you doing in Japan?

Last time I saw some groups hosting “Ohanami” (flower viewing and drinks while watching cherry blossoms) and partied by a lot of people sat on blue tarp. Currently it is prohibited to do Ohanami due to COVID-19.

If they were Japanese workers or students, I would think absolutely they are insane but actually they looked like the group came from different countries.

I felt “well, what can I say for them?”

Because they did choose Japan to come enjoy and have experiences culture.
Japanese will be criticized by many people If this situation was not them. Do you understand how this situation crazy is?

Most Japanese people think and want them to have enjoy in Japan but also want them to think if some people in your group got infected by corona due to the party. **It could be criticized by someone and broadcast through the news in your country. **

Don’t you think it is crazy if you couldn’t control yourself, which might make bad impression on your country for others.

This is For your friends, family, Japan and yourself, let’s think about current situation and take an action what you can do now.

【時事ネタ Vol.1】2020年のお花見事情

日本にいる皆さん、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。

先日、井の頭公園で、コロナの影響でお花見自粛と言われているのにも関わらず、ブルーシートを敷いて宴会をしているグループを見かけました。しかも、大人数のグループです。

私も、彼らが日本人のサラリーマンや春休み中の学生であったら、「全く、何を考えているんだ」と思えたでしょう。しかし、彼らは外国人のグループでした。私は「外国人なら仕方ないね。」と思いました。こんなご時世でも、お花見をしている人が「外国人」っていうだけで、「仕方ない、だって外国人だもん」って思うことができるのです。

これがどれだけおかしいことか、分かりますか？こんな状況で、私たち日本人がサクラを見ながら宴会でもしようものなら、批判されるでしょう。でも、皆さんは違います。「せっかく日本に来たのだから、楽しみたい気持ちは充分に分かる。仕方がない。」そう思う日本人も多いはずです。

でも、あなたたちが「自粛」と言われている中で宴会をし、誰か一人でもコロナに感染してしまったら、どうなるか考えてほしいのです。「日本に来なきゃいいのに。」そんな冷たいことを言う人もいるでしょう。そしてきっと、ニュースではあなたの出身国まで伝えられてしまいます。

ちょっとの我慢をしないことで、あなたの出身国を悪く言われるのはもったいないことだと思いませんか？あなたのため、友人のため、日本のために、そして早く外に出掛けて楽しめるように、「今」考えて行動していきましょう。
