昨日、久しぶりにマインドトリップするワインに出会えた。
こういう非日常的な瞬間を時々味わえるのがワインの仕事をしてて最も面白いことの一つ。
このワインを飲んだ後、色々考えた結果、こういう記憶を日記として残していく事にした。
テイスティングだけじゃなくてワインが生み出す楽しい時間とか、色々適当に。

南仏の初秋お昼過ぎ、晴天で真っ青な空の下。
西洋かりんの木がいくつか生える丘の上で、澄んで美味しい空気を味わう。ここの空気は口から体へ一切の抵抗もなく浸透してゆく。体全体が喜んでいる。
木になっている実は旬を迎えつつあるが、まだ若干青みがかった黄色で少し渋そうだ。
実と周りの葉はす〜っと穏やかに吹く風に揺られながら音を奏でている。
自分はその実がなぜか愛おしく感じ、ただそれが熟すのを見守る様に、その場でこの景色を眺めた。
今日このワインを一口味わった瞬間、こんな光景がハッキリと頭に浮かんだ。
この2022年のワインはまだまだ若く、渋みが目立つ。果実味は豊富にあるが爆発まではしていない。数年後、ワインがいくつか先の段階に到達した時、また同じ様な光景を見たい。
その時には実が完熟していて、躊躇なくかぶりついて味を楽しめるかもしれない。
でも今日はこれで十分に満足だった。
次回またこのワインを飲むのが本当に楽しみ

Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I had a mind trip over wine.
These extraordinary moments are very important to me, so after thinking about it a lot, I decided to keep a wine diary from time to time.
Not only tasting wines, but also the fun times wine create and other random things.

Early autumn in the south of France, just after noon, under a clear, blue sky.
On top of a hill where some quince trees grow, I savor the clear, delicious air.
It permeates from mouth to body without any resistance at all. It is delightful.
The fruits are coming into season, but they are still slightly bluish yellow and look a bit bitter and austere.
The fruits and surrounding leaves make a sound as they are gently swayed by the breeze.
For some reason, I felt a little dearly for the quince and so just watched them ripen.
As soon as I tasted the first sip of this wine today, this scene clearly came to mind.
This wine from 2022 is still young and has a noticeable astringency. The fruit is abundant, but not to the point of explosion. I would like to see a similar scene again in a few years, when the wine has reached some further stages.
Maybe then the fruit will be fully ripe and I will be able to bite into it and enjoy the flavors without hesitation.
But for today, I was satisfied with this.
I really look forward to drinking this wine again next time!
