今日取り上げるのは…

When at last they ventured back to the feast, the door opened suddenly and in came the servants to clear the table, followed by the House Dog.

英文は、だれが→どうする→何をといった順番で並んでいます。
意味のかたまりで区切って、日本語を当ててから、解説にとんでみてください。

それでは、説明していきたいと思います。

When at last they ventured back to the feast, / the door opened suddenly / and in came the servants / to clear the table, / followed by the House Dog.
ついに、彼らが宴会の戻ろうとしたとき / ドアが突然開いた / そして使用人たちが入ってきた / テーブルを片付けるために / 番犬によって従われた

When … feast と並行して、誰が何をしているのか？というと the door… と
いうように読んでいくとよいと思います。

in came the servants は倒置が起こっていて、the servants が主語です。
何のために入ってきたのか？→ to clear the table (テーブルを片付けるために) → どういう状態で入ってきたのか？→ followed by the House Dog (番犬を従えて) です。
