この僕のいる部屋が
もしも宇宙船だったなら
宇宙の果てまで行けるだろうに。

Were this room where I am a spacecraft, 
I could go to the end of the universe.

18世紀の文学をすべて読んだなら、
タイムマシンで18世紀に行った気持ちになれるだろうに。

To read the whole literature written in the 18th century,  I could feel as if I visited the world in the 18th century.

Even if he were she and she were I, 
by no means would this necessarily mean
I am he.
