大原大次郎『Recover』（#雑レポート）

渋谷のCASE TOKYOで開催中の大原大次郎『Recover』

大原大次郎氏は1978年神奈川県生まれ。

タイポグラフィを基軸としたデザインワークや映像制作で活躍。
星野源『Stranger』、『夢の外へ』などのジャケットも担当。

今回のタイトルは『Recover』。【re】には本体の意味である「再び」のほか、【remix】【reserch（調査）】【relation（関係）】【record（記録】【reaction（反応）】が込められており、【cover】には、本の表紙を意味する【cover】と、音楽の世界における（原曲を他者が演奏・歌唱する）【cover】の意味がかかっているそう。

Case Publishingから出版された写真集やアートブックを【recover】の手法を通して眺め、読み、描写しています。

私はすべての本が読んだことのない本だったので、【Recover】されている部分の奥まで読み取ることはできませんでしたが、元の本を知っている人ならより楽しめるはず。

またサイト内ステートメントを見ていたらこんな文章が。。。。

現物の出版物も会場でお手にとってご覧いただけます。

もしや下に置いてあった書籍は触ってもよかったのだろうか。。。。

だとしたら、その本のもう少し奥まで感じ取れるかもしれない。。。。

Daijiro Ohara was born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1978.

Active in design work and video production based on typography.
Also responsible for jackets such as Gen Hoshino's “Stranger” and “Out of Dreams”.

The title is “Recover”. [Re] includes [remix], [reserch], [relation], [record], and [reaction], and [cover] means [cover], which means the cover of the book, and the original music by others It seems that the meaning of “cover” is singing.
