By sending your avatar to MOGANA, a luxury hotel located near Kyoto Nijo Castle, you will experience a "virtual-stay" by participating in the creation of an artwork by Satoshi Iida, an artist who will stay there. The creation process will be updated on SNS and you can get a collection of works as a result.
Introduction
Hello, my name is Fukao from Stay Art, a company that organizes and manages art events in hotels. I’d like to provide you a kind of [stay]in hotel even if we can't travel as much as we'd like in these times. For those who want to participate in a new art experience using social networking sites I would like to take you to a slightly different, but never-before-experienced project!
Following the first edition of Setouchi Retreat Seonagi (Ehime, Japan) and the second edition of Hotel Claska (Meguro, Tokyo), the third edition will take place at the hyper-modernist MOGANA, a hotel located near Nijo Castle in Kyoto City, where the aesthetic sense of the architect Takashi Yamaguchi and the owner is crystallized.

(virtual)accommodation experiential installation
In this project, participants = guests, their avatars (alter egos) will be placed in the guest room on behalf of the guests. The artist will create their own story and record it in the photos. This time, a flower arrangement by artist Iida will be added to the work.
Why did I decide to do this project
One of the reasons is that I wanted to break this situation it is difficult to go to distant hotels as easily as before, and the other reason is the ongoing expansion of remote work and the new demand in the social networking service and content industry, which led me to this idea.
Past Activities
I had been working as an architect and experienced hotels all over Japan and the world and wanted to spread the attraction of hotels, but I felt that the creation of a building alone was neglecting the actual usage of the building, so I decided to focus my activities on exploring the contents and much more interesting ways of using the hotels.

Artist Profile
Osaka-based florist Satoshi Iida will be the host artist for this project
His floral designs are unconventional and graceful of course, but also their shapes with his wit and conceptualization have a presence of their own as sculptures. Currently, he is mainly working on floral arrangements for weddings and hotels.
