「I would like to(〜したい)」という普通の表現ではなく,「「I would love to(めっちゃ〜したい)」という強い表現で,「もし進めるならそのまま申し込みプロセスに進みたい」とラブコール.

It was Wednesday night of the first week of house-hunting, and we were supposed to stay up late for the viewing at 0:30 a.m. (already Thursday in Japan), but it was cancelled without a hitch.

I was told by my husband, "You don't have to rush to make a decision since you won't be going to the U.K. for a while yet. I'm sure you'll find a good one here," said my husband.

However, I am too anxious to make a decision without having submitted any applications or requests for viewings! I decided to go to bed after submitting several applications for viewing.

[Unfurnished property] The property is in a new residential area, a bit far from the area we were aiming for, and it's the first unfurnished house we've seen. And this is the first unfurnished apartment. The children will have to take the bus to school and their lessons. We will need to buy a car. 360° virtual preview is included.

[Palace property] A little far from my target area. Furnished. Not much bus service, and I will have to walk across the park around the palatial property to get to school or work. The park is dark at night. Video preview included. (It was a cute video of a cat walking in front of the photographer to guide)

[3 beds property] Right in the middle of the area I was looking for. In addition to basic furniture such as beds, sofas, and dining sets, each room has a study desk. The 3-bedroom apartment is a bit over my budget limit (I was looking for a 2-bedroom apartment with a double bed, since my child is not yet a teenager).

(I was looking for a two-bedroom apartment with a double bed, since my child is not yet a teenager. I thought I had to be aggressive.

Instead of the usual "I would like to," I used a stronger expression, "I would love to," and made a love call to them, saying, "If you proceed, I would like to proceed directly to the application process.

[Unfurnished property]  For the unfurnished apartment, an application form and a list of questions were sent immediately. By early Thursday morning (Japan time), I had filled out all the forms, answered all the questions, and completed the application.

[Palace property] I was told that I could view the second palace property this Friday. I applied for it (I was completely mistaken at the time, but the viewing I applied for was an on-site viewing).

[3 beds property] I received a reply at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday evening (Japan Standard Time) saying that I could view the 3-bed apartment 3 next Monday. I was told, "Actually, I live in Japan, so it's difficult for me to do a physical viewing. Can I have a virtual or video viewing? I inquired, "Can I do a virtual or video preview? I was told, "We can make a 'walk-through video' (the real estate agent in charge of the viewing takes pictures of the property with his/her cell phone), so wait a minute.

Now, in fact, one of these properties will be our destined property that we will end up signing a contract with. Now, which one is it? I will give you the answer next time.

To be continued.
