強く、広く

どんな著名人でも、有名になっても、国際的な賞を取っても、誰かからの低評価はなくならない。

その現実を見ると、自分を信じてやり抜くことの大切さを知れる気がします。

自分の中の論理をプレゼンした結果、一人にでも共感されるものがあるのなら、まずはその一人を虜にするものを目指す。

それを続けていくと、同じような価値観や感性をもつ新しいファンが増える。

そのファン一人ひとりと向き合い、別の角度を見つけては、自分に落とし込んでいく。

こうして自分と他者とを行き来することで、自分という個人をもっと磨き上げることができると思いませんか。

わたしにとって、芸術活動は終わりがない研究であり、人生の糧になっています。

Title: Strong and broad
No matter what kind of celebrity you are, no matter how famous you become, no matter how many international awards you win, you will never be rid of the low opinion someone has of you. When I see that reality, I feel that I can know the importance of believing in myself and working through it.
If the result of presenting my inner logic is something that even one person can relate to, I will first aim for something that will captivate that one person. As you continue to do this, you will gain new fans who share similar values and sensibilities. Then, face each of those fans, find a different angle, and incorporate it into your own work.
In this way, by moving back and forth between myself and others, don't you think you can further refine yourself as an individual?
For me, artistic activities are a never-ending research and a source of sustenance for my life.
