プールパーティー

異常に暑い日が続いてるらしいブリスベン。湿度も高くて日本みたいだな〜と思ってる20日目。

昨日はオーストラリアデーということで、晩御飯にオーストラリアの伝統的な料理を振る舞ってくれた。

ラム肉を食べるのが伝統的らしい。

高校生の時に食べたジンギスカン以来のラム肉だったけど、すごく美味しかった。

My host father prepare traditional food in Australia last night because it was a Australian Day.
It seems that eating lamb is a kind of traditional on Australia Day.
I haven't eaten lamb since high school student, but it was tasty.

今日は、特に予定がなかったが、ホストファザーが友達の家のプールに行こう。
と誘ってっくれた。

プールパーティーに行くのに10ドルいるって言われて、ちょっと行くか迷ったけど、行ってすごく良かった。

個人宅のプールとは思えないほど綺麗で、大きかった。

ご飯も色んな人が持ち寄ってきたみたいで、ソーセージや野菜、スナック、果物を自由に食べていいよって感じのパーティーだった。

最後には、フルーツサラダ食べなって言って、スイカやメロン、マンゴーなんかが入ったフルーツサラダを振る舞ってくれた。

フルーツサラダ全部好みのものだったので最高だった。

プールも、最初入るのに戸惑っていたけど、すごく良かった。

ブリスベンの気温は36度まで上がったみたいで、今もめちゃくちゃ暑い。

プールでは、オーストラリアのおじさん達とボール回しして遊んだりした。

お金を気にして行かなかったら、多分ダラダラするだけの1日になっていた。

もちろん、仕事をしていない今、お金を気にすることも大切だけど、楽しみたい。

せっかく、仕事辞めて海外に来ているんだし。

お金にシビアになりすぎないようにして、オーストラリア生活を楽しもう。

I didn't have any plans today, but my host father invited me to go to pool party in his friend's house.
But, he told me it takes 10 dollar each person, so I was not sure if I should go or not.
After all, I went there, but it was so nice.
The pool was larger and more cleaned than I expected.
There were many foods such as sausages, salad, fruits and snacks.
In the end, they provided us fruit salad including melon, watermelon, mango and so on.
It was awesome because all of them were my favorite fruits.
At first I was considering whether I am in water or not because I can't swim, but my decision was great.
It seems the temperature reached 36 degree here and still very hot now.
I played throw a ball in the pool with David's friends.
If I didn't join because of financial reason, I must have regreted.
Of course since I don't have job now, I have to care of money but I want to enjoy this life.
Since I came Australia, I wanna make many memories.
